Never liked a damn comment faster in my life. Man I wish I've seen this in the movie theaters too, would have been amongst the people doing standing ovation tbh

im not english native talker so forgive me in advance. Everybody here in comments writing that Andrew's father is horrofied and not recognizing his son by his face expression. But I see what I'd like see by the face of my father and theses are 2 things: 1 being proud of your son on the most high level 2. The sense of that your son is the most talented guy at any occupation (exactly here drums) p.s. I think most of the visitors of this concert has also the same face expression as Andrew's father

I love how this is one of the rare times where the protagonist AND antagonist wins in the end. Andrew won as he became one of the greats and he proved he was an excellent drummer. Whereas Fletcher won as he transformed Andrew into the next Charlie Parker, which was his entire goal. I wish movies were like this nowadays.
